Club Disney
Club Disney was a regional children's play center concept operated by Disney Regional Entertainment. Club Disney was billed as "imagination-powered playsite". In February 1997, the first Club Disney opened in Thousand Oaks, California. In February 1998, another club was built at the Eastland Shopping Center in West Covina, California. Three more Club Disney locations were also built in 1999, including one at 56th Street and Ray Road in Chandler, Arizona, and 75th Avenue and Bell Road in Glendale, Arizona, both suburbs of Phoenix, as well as one in Lone Tree, Colorado, south of Denver. Eventually, due to a change in strategy at the corporate level, all Club Disney locations were closed on November 1, 1999. ==Second Iteration==
In 2014, Disney announced that the Club Disney brand would be revitalized for use at Walt Disney World hotel children's activity centers. Instead of being a national chain, the brand would only be used for the existing centers at Disney Resort Hotels in Florida. The first location will open in the summer Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Also, in Hollywood Studios, you will be able to find a dance floor that is air conditioned playing Radio Disney Top 40 Hits.
